The Music for Canberra vision is to inspire people of all ages to enjoy the benefits of music making. 

Supporting our programs such as the Canberra Youth Orchestra for our young and aspiring musicians and Mixed Abilities Programs for our disability community, nurtures our sense of community and shapes our national identity.

Leave a Legacy

We encourage you to discuss any plans that you may have for your estate with your family and friends and to seek legal advice.

There are three ways we can recommend for you to include Music of Canberra or any of its program such as the Canberra Youth Orchestra in your estate planning.

You can leave a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate, or you can leave a residual bequest.  A residual bequest will see whatever remains after your personal commitments have been made come to Music for Canberra.

Suggested Wording

You may like to consider including the following wording in your will:

‘I give a bequest to Music for Canberra (ABN: 52 506 914 615) that includes:

1. All of my residual estate

OR

2. ……. % of my residual estate

OR

3. the sum of $.......’.
