This ensemble is designed for young musicians looking to develop their skills and enjoy playing in a supportive group setting.

Launched in Term 3, 2025, the Canberra Youth Concert Band is already a growing, enthusiastic ensemble and continues into 2026 with Music for Canberra.
Students in Years 6-12 are encouraged to enrol.
Conductor of the Canberra Youth Concert Band, Claire Leske, is a qualified and passionate educator with over 15 years experience in teaching at a primary and secondary level. Claire grew up playing music and making great friends in concert bands, and wishes everyone had the opportunity to do the same!
