The choir now welcomes young singers into one unified choral ensemble, providing a clear journey from early musical discovery through to confident ensemble singing. Children develop essential skills such as reading sheet music, achieving a good blend and balance, refining rhythmic precision and developing vocal techniques.
In 2026, the choir enters a period of thoughtful artistic transition. We are pleased to welcome Olivia Swift as Acting Conductor, a familiar face and highly respected leader in Canberra’s choral community. Olivia brings extensive experience working with young singers and is known for building confidence, musical curiosity and a love of challenge.
During Term 1, Olivia will work with guest conductors as we undertake a careful search for a long-term choral conductor—reflecting the choir’s long history and commitment to community.
