Woden Valley Youth Choir Annual Concert 2026: Touch the Sky

This year’s concert, Touch the Sky, explores music that looks upward — not just into the sky itself, but into the ideas, stories, and emotions we carry when we do. Across the program, young voices move through shifting skies: calm and open, storm-filled, playful, reflective, and everything in between.

The repertoire draws on a mix of folk traditions, contemporary choral writing, and familiar stories reimagined through music. Together these pieces trace connection — to place, to each other, and to something larger than ourselves. At times the music feels expansive and light; at others, it is grounded and immediate, full of rhythm, colour, and human detail.
